Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and enable them to get the most out of our BI solutionsUnderstand the use of data in order to perform data validation on the developed reports and identify analyses discrepancies
  • Assess the scale and impact of the business change from the perspective of people and processes
  • Assists in business case development
  •  Serves as the link between the business and the BI team
  • Supporting the team’s Scrum sessions and Sprint ways of working, including defining and communicating features, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Communicate the requirements to the team using appropriate documentation
  • Develop, write, and communicate business requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of business solutions
  • Develop and maintain requirements documentation and stories about projects in the corresponding repository
  • Make revisions on the above documentation whenever is necessary
  • Investigate and resolve issues, escalate as needed in order to address business questions
  • Provide frequent project status reports to stakeholders and management
  • Communicate project issues and recommend resolution
  • Participates in the creation, review and analysis of user stories/ epics in projects
  • Promotes an understanding of BI procedures, processes and activities to the business units

 

Requirements

 

  • Ability to transform complicated data sets into clear stories that are relevant to the business need
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with ability to present complex results in a clear, concise, and action-oriented format
  • Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups spanning all organizational levels
  • Strong critical thinking
  • Highly detailed-driven with emphasis on accuracy and an ability to see the broader picture
  • Proactive in identifying process challenges and proactively driving improvements
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across internal departments to drive the right decisions for the team
  • Work independently to balance multiple tasks and competing priorities simultaneously

 

Will be a plus

  • Previous reporting experience involving operations activities
  • Experience with QlikView or Qlik Sense
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience with complex cross team projects
