We are a highly creative, energetic, nimble thinking, sociable, close knit team of people made up of graphic designers, information designers, product designers and design managers at all different levels.
You are a creative, talented and committed senior designer, passionate about design, the creative process and design thinking. You will have experience of designing graphics for the built environment, alongside experience in information graphics, print and branding. Having strong communication skills and the confidence to both present ideas and get involved in all stages of the creative process, from ideation, to production, and implementation is a pre-requisite.
Provide a creative, effective and innovative senior role in the design team with a particular strength in infographic design for wayfinding projects.
Participate and contribute in brainstorming/design sprints, conduct any relevant research for projects, add insight and value, and assist in achieving studio and project goals.
Assist in the generation of design concepts through to final design with the support from more senior members of the team. This includes developing presentations for both internal and external meetings and presentations.
Attend any meetings/presentations as required, providing clear and effective presentations – visual, written and spoken.
Liaise with contractors, ensuring all work produced is of the highest quality whilst providing value for money. This includes procuring samples/prototypes.
Work collaboratively with the 3d designer, ensuring the delivery of any product is fully co-ordinated with the graphics and meets the highest quality
Responsible for accomplishing and maintaining the quality of design throughout all phases of the project showing complete attention to detail, with consideration for the end user and how they ultimately engage with the studio’s creative output.
Deliver work according to an agreed timescale and be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Be flexible in design and able to take direction, feedback and observations with a positive attitude.
Ensure all records and files relating to the design work are maintained on any particular project.
Assist in the development of more junior members of the team.
Carry out ad hoc duties as requested by appropriate members of the team.
Qualities and essential skills
Strong conceptual, innovation and creative graphic designer
Ability to effectively present ideas.
Excellent typographic skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High level of interpersonal communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision.
Excellent computer knowledge, minimum Adobe Creative Suite
Minimum 6 years experience or equivalent
